Cattle Egret

Cattle egrets are immigrants from Africa, they associate with large mammals, feed on insects that the mammal scares up as they walk or eats insects off of mammals. Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica. Some were taken at a rookery on the Hacienda Baru property.
